Spring Soccer Coronavirus Update

CSL hopes that all of you are doing well and are remaining healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This pandemic has been difficult on everyone everywhere, and CSL recognizes that all of us are operating with much more uncertainty than is normal. That stated, CSL appreciates everyone’s patience and grace as we all adjust to ever-changing dynamics.

We hope to start playing soccer again as soon as it is possible and safe to do so. Regarding the Spring recreational soccer season, CSL plans to follow the public schools’ lead on the safety and health of students to guide decisions about the safety and health of our recreational soccer players. When public schools resume at-school learning, CSL plans to start the Spring recreational season. At the moment, public schools will be able to resume at-school learning after May 15. If that date holds, CSL will start practices the week at-school instruction resumes, and games will follow as soon as possible. Due to the delayed start to the season, games will continue into June as CSL hopes to provide as many games as possible to our soccer players.

CSL thanks all of you for how grateful and, especially, how courtesy you have been as CSL determines how to provide soccer to all of our players.
